Saffo & Friends Foundation was born from a heart for serving others; a heart that was shaped long before the organization had a name.
How It Began...
Growing up, I watched my mother and father lead with compassion, generosity, and a genuine concern for people in need. They taught me that being blessed also comes with a responsibility to reach back and help someone else. My father, especially, led by example. I watched him give selflessly, show compassion, and help others simply because it was the right thing to do.
Although my father is no longer here with us, his legacy of love, generosity, and service continues to live through me and through the work of Saffo & Friends Foundation. Many of the values that guide this organization today were first demonstrated to me by him.
Today, I have the privilege of carrying those values forward by creating opportunities for young people to feel supported, encouraged, confident, and prepared for their future. Through financial literacy, leadership development, educational support, introductory pre-coding, and community outreach, we are committed to pouring into the next generation.
Saffo & Friends is more than a nonprofit; it is a continuation of a legacy. A legacy of giving, loving people, and believing that when we have the ability to help someone, we should.
